Background & production
Launched in 1984 by John Jameson & Son to celebrate the whiskeys of the old Midleton distillery. A new vintage has been released every year since, each bottle individually numbered.
Each year the Master Distiller selects pot still and grain whiskeys aged between 12 and 25 years, finished in ex-bourbon barrels. At Irish Distillers, where year-to-year consistency is prized, it is unusual in that every vintage has its own character.
Bottles carry the Master Distiller's signature and are highly collectible.
