Background & production
A Jameson made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork. After maturation in sherry and bourbon casks, it is finished in barrels that previously held craft stout.
The barrels are sent to Franciscan Well, a craft brewery in Cork, to age stout, then returned to Midleton to finish Jameson — whiskey and beer sharing the same casks, hence the name "Caskmates."
Bottled at 40% ABV.
