Nikka pitches it as the perfect whisky for the rocks, and its sweet aroma and body hold up well over ice. In a highball or with water, the floral notes lift and lighten.

Background & production
Part of Nikka's Black Nikka range of blended whiskies, launched on 26 March 2013.
Its key malt is whisky matured at length in sherry casks, balanced with Nikka's own Coffey grain — grain whisky made in a Coffey continuous still. The aim was soft, sweet oak and fruity, floral aromas together with a smooth texture and real richness.
Bottled at 40% ABV, in 700ml bottles and 4-litre PET bottles.
