Background & production

A blend from the Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland, with a very high proportion of malt whiskey — around 80% — combined with grain whiskey.

The malt is matured for up to about eight years in oloroso sherry casks, giving a darker colour and rich fruit. Bottled at 40%.

It was named Best Irish Blend at the World Whiskies Awards in 2007 and 2010.
