Background & production

Made at Glenmorangie in Tain in the northern Highlands, founded in 1843 and known for the tallest stills in Scotland, which give a delicate, light spirit.

Lasanta — said to mean 'warmth and passion' in Gaelic — spends around ten years in bourbon casks, picking up toffee and vanilla, then a further two years in oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for honeycomb, spiced orange and chocolate.

It is bottled at 43%.
