Background & production
From Glenmorangie, founded in 1843 in Tain in the northern Highlands. Its stills, around 8 m tall and said to be Scotland's tallest, produce a delicate, light spirit. The distillery is owned by LVMH.
X is the first Glenmorangie created for mixing, developed with input from bartenders around the world. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in new charred oak casks.
It carries no age statement and is bottled at 40% ABV.
