Figs, dates, nuts, blue cheese or honey-based desserts.

Background & production

The 18 Year Old from Glenmorangie, at Tain in the Highlands, also known as Extremely Rare.

It first spends fifteen years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. Around 30% is then moved into Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for a further three years, and once both parts reach 18 years they are married together.

It is bottled at 43% ABV.
