Background & production
Named after Powers' former John's Lane Distillery in Dublin. Today it is made by Irish Distillers at Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
Single pot still spirit — malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills — is aged for at least 12 years, mainly in first-fill American oak, with a small portion matured in oloroso sherry butts.
Bottled at 46%, it is regarded as the most concentrated expression of the spicy Powers style.
