How to enjoy it

  • Highball
  • Neat
  • On the rocks

Light and easy, it is an ideal first single malt. In a highball the pear-like aroma opens up refreshingly.

Food pairing

Grilled salmon, chicken dishes and fruit tarts.

Background & production

Glenfiddich, in Dufftown in Speyside, has been distilling in the "valley of the deer" since 1887.

The 12 Year Old is matured for at least 12 years in American oak and European oak sherry casks, then mellowed in oak marrying tuns before bottling, giving sweet, subtle oak.

Bottled at 40%.
