Background & production
Made at Glen Grant in Rothes, Speyside. Founded by the Grant brothers in 1840, its tall, slender stills and purifiers — introduced by James Grant of the second generation — give a light, fruity spirit. It is now owned by Italy's Campari Group.
The 12 Year Old joined the core range in 2016, replacing the 10 Year Old, and combines spirit matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks.
It is bottled at 43% ABV.
