Background & production

Made at GlenDronach near Forgue in Aberdeenshire, founded in 1826. The name means 'valley of the brambles' in Gaelic. The distillery is now owned by Brown-Forman.

The core range is built on sherry-cask maturation. The 12 Year Old is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of Spanish Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks.

It is bottled at 43% with natural colour.
