Background & production

A 21-year-old from GlenDronach at Forgue, near Huntly in Aberdeenshire. Founded in 1826 by James Allardice and owned by Brown-Forman since 2016, the distillery is known for maturation in oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

'Parliament' refers to the colony of rooks — a 'parliament' in English — that has nested in the trees overlooking the distillery for nearly 200 years.

It is matured in Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 48%.
