Background & production

Made at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, western Scotland — said to be the only Scottish distillery to carry out every step on site, malting 100% of its barley on traditional floors through to bottling.

Springbank is made from lightly peated barley with a distinctive two-and-a-half-times distillation. The 10 Year Old is matured around 60% in bourbon casks and 40% in sherry casks, and bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
