Background & production

Made at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, western Scotland. Longrow began in 1973 as an experimental peated malt and is named after a long-gone distillery that stood next to Springbank.

It is made from heavily peated malt (50–55 ppm phenols) and double distilled. Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, it is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring.
