Food pairing

Apple pie, nuts and cheese — or pork with apple sauce.

Background & production

The core bottling from Glengoyne, which straddles the Highland–Lowland boundary. Its barley is dried by air rather than over peat, so the spirit shows clean, sweet malt with no smoke.

It reflects slow distillation and maturation in casks including sherry casks of European and American oak. Bottled at 40%.
