How to enjoy it

  • Highball
  • Neat
  • On the rocks

Light and easy-going, it makes a highball where the citrus shines. Neat or on the rocks it never tires the palate — a good first single malt.

Food pairing

Lighter dishes such as carpaccio, fried white fish or herb-roasted chicken.

Background & production

A single malt from Auchentoshan Distillery near Glasgow, regarded as the only Scottish distillery to triple-distil all of its spirit, which gives a light, smooth character.

The 12 Year Old was introduced in 2011 to replace the previous 10 Year Old. It draws on ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 40%.
