How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • With water

Neat is the way to enjoy its sherry richness and spice. At 46%, a few drops of water bring out the orange and cocoa.

Food pairing

Dried fruit, chocolate or a nut tart. Also sweet-savoury braised meats like teriyaki or Japanese braised pork belly.

Background & production

A single malt from GlenAllachie distillery near Aberlour in Speyside, at the foot of Ben Rinnes. In 2017 former BenRiach boss Billy Walker and partners bought the distillery from Chivas Brothers and began building its own single malt range.

The 15 Year Old is matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks selected by Billy Walker, giving it a deep auburn colour.

It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
