How to enjoy it
- Neat
- With water
- Highball
Neat is best for its delicate aromas, and at 46% ABV a splash of water opens up the fruit and florals. Its lightness also works in a highball.
Food pairing
Dishes with a fresh, citrusy edge: white fish meunière, citrus salads or lemon tart.
Background & production
Made at Glencadam distillery in the ancient town of Brechin in eastern Scotland. Founded in 1825, it is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and has been owned by Angus Dundee since 2003.
It is a small distillery with just one wash still and one spirit still, whose distinctive angle is credited with its delicate spirit.
The 10 Year Old is matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour.
