Background & production
A blended whisky released by Nikka in 1985. More than 100 batches of malt and grain whisky are blended, then refilled into used casks for a few months of "marriage" so the components harmonise and mellow.
At 51.4% it has near cask-strength power. The square bottle expresses the concept of "a small block of whisky".
