Background & production
A staple of Nikka's Black Nikka range. Using unpeated malt — barley dried without peat, so no smoky aroma — gives soft aromas, a mellow taste and a clean, easy character.
Alongside malt and grain whisky it contains grain spirit, and some carefully selected imported whisky is used. Bottled at 37% and sold in sizes from 180ml up to 4-litre bottles.
