Background & production

From the distillery near Glasgow at Clydebank, founded in 1823. Where most Scotch distilleries distil twice, Auchentoshan triple-distils all of its spirit for a light, smooth character. It is now part of Suntory.

American Oak arrived in 2014 to replace the earlier Classic. It carries no age statement and is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks.

It is bottled at 40% ABV.
