How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • On the rocks
  • Highball

Mild and approachable, it makes a good first neat single malt. On the rocks or in a highball, the honey and vanilla still come through clearly.

Food pairing

Nutty baked goods, crème brûlée, or honey-mustard roast chicken.

Background & production

Made at Tomintoul distillery in the Glenlivet area of Speyside. Founded in 1964, it began bottling single malt in 1974 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

The 10 Year Old is matured exclusively in hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon barrels for at least ten years, giving a sweet, fruity profile of honey, citrus and vanilla.

Marketed as "the gentle dram", it is bottled at 40% ABV.
