How to enjoy it

  • Highball
  • On the rocks
  • Cocktails

The rum-cask sweetness keeps a highball from tasting thin. Also easy on the rocks or as a cocktail base.

Food pairing

Spare ribs, barbecue and sweet-savoury dishes such as caramelised nuts.

Background & production

A blended Irish whiskey from the Teeling Whiskey Company in Dublin. Hand-selected grain and malt whiskeys are aged in ex-bourbon casks for up to six years, then married for more than six months in Central American rum casks.

The rum casks add a distinctive dried-fruit sweetness. It is bottled at 46% — higher than most blends — and is not chill filtered.
