Background & production
The brand traces back to William Teacher, who began selling whisky in Glasgow in 1830; Highland Cream was created in 1884.
Its "fingerprint" is fully peated single malt from Ardmore in the Highlands, combined with around 30 other single malts and grain whisky, with a notably high proportion of malt.
Sold in Japan by Suntory and bottled at 40% ABV.
