Background & production

Made at Midleton distillery in County Cork from single pot still whiskey: a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills.

The 21 Year Old combines whiskey matured for at least 21 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and first-fill Spanish oak oloroso sherry butts, including some as old as 28 years.

It was launched in September 2013 and is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
