Background & production
From the distillery founded in 1794 in the middle of the harbour town of Oban on Scotland's west coast. With only two pot stills, it is one of Scotland's smaller distilleries and is owned by Diageo.
Little Bay was launched in December 2014 without an age statement. Its whiskies are married in the smallest casks used at the distillery to increase contact with the wood.
The name nods to the town itself: the Gaelic An t-Òban means 'little bay'. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
