Background & production
Part of the regular range from the distillery in the village of Dalwhinnie in the central Highlands. Founded in 1898 at around 326 m above sea level, it is regarded as one of the highest distilleries in Scotland and is owned by Diageo.
Winter's Gold joined the range in 2015 and uses only spirit distilled between October and March, the coldest months. Chilling it in the freezer is suggested to give a syrupy texture.
It carries no age statement and is bottled at 43% ABV.
