How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • On the rocks
  • Highball

Neat or on the rocks to enjoy the wine-cask fruit. Light enough for a highball, where the red-berry aromas really lift.

Food pairing

Cured ham and salami, or duck and pork with berry sauce.

Background & production

A single grain whiskey from Teeling in Dublin, made from a mash of 97% corn and 3% malted barley distilled in column stills.

The spirit is fully matured — for around seven years on average — in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, giving a reddish colour unusual for grain whiskey and plenty of berry fruit.

Bottled at 46% without chill filtration. It has won Best Irish Single Grain at the World Whiskies Awards several times.
