Background & production
Named after Thomas Parr, reputed to be the oldest man in Britain. The brand was created by the Greenlees brothers and is now owned by Diageo.
Its foundation is Cragganmore from Speyside, and Glendullan has been a major component since around the Second World War.
It is known for its dimpled, rounded square bottle and a label bearing Rubens' portrait of Thomas Parr. Japan is one of its key markets, alongside South America. The 12 Year Old is bottled at 40% ABV.
