How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • On the rocks
  • With water

Neat shows off its sweet, lush aromas best. At 40% it's easy-drinking, and on the rocks the sweetness tightens up into a nice after-dinner dram.

Food pairing

Dark chocolate, dried fruit or sweet treats like Taiwanese pineapple cake.

Background & production

Made at King Car Group's Kavalan distillery in Yilan County, north-eastern Taiwan. Founded in 2005, it is known for rapid maturation in the hot, humid subtropical climate.

Triple Sherry Cask launched in November 2021. Whisky fully matured separately in oloroso, Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Moscatel sherry casks is married together, with the dried fruit of oloroso at its core and the sweetness of PX and Moscatel layered on top.

It carries no age statement and is bottled at 40% ABV.
