How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • With water
  • Highball

Start neat to appreciate how the different malts layer together; a few drops of water bring out the fruit. It also holds its smoke and malt well in a highball.

Food pairing

Smoked salmon, smoked nuts or salted grilled chicken skewers — anything toasty or lightly smoky.

Background & production

Green Label is the Johnnie Walker blend made entirely from single malts, with no grain whisky. Every whisky in it has been aged for at least 15 years.

The malts named in its make-up include Talisker from Skye, Caol Ila from Islay, and Linkwood and Cragganmore from Speyside — combining coastal peat and smoke with Speyside fruitiness.

Introduced in the early 2000s, it is bottled at 43% ABV.
