How to enjoy it

  • On the rocks
  • Highball
  • Neat

On the rocks the caramel and oak settle into a relaxed sip. With more body than White Label, it holds its flavour well in a highball, and it is gentle enough neat.

Food pairing

BBQ, spare ribs and burgers — meat with sweet, smoky sauces.

Background & production

Made at the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Following the Beam family recipe, the mash is mostly corn with rye and malted barley, and the sour mash method is used.

It is aged in new charred American white oak barrels for longer than the standard Jim Beam White Label.

It is bottled at 43% ABV.
