Background & production
Made at The Glenlivet distillery in Speyside. The name honours founder George Smith, who licensed the distillery in 1824, and pays tribute to the smooth, fruity style he envisioned.
Spirit from traditional oak casks is married with spirit from first-fill American oak casks — casks never before used to mature whisky — adding a creamy sweetness.
Launched in 2015, it is bottled without an age statement at 40% ABV.
