Background & production

Made at Jura distillery in Craighouse, on the east coast of the Isle of Jura in the Hebrides. Founded in 1810 by the island's laird, it was dismantled in the early 20th century and rebuilt by 1963. It is now owned by Whyte & Mackay and is known for its tall pot stills.

The 12 Year Old spends 12 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.

It is bottled at 40% ABV.
