How to enjoy it

  • Neat
  • With water
  • Highball

At 50%, taste a little neat first, then add water and watch the fruit open up. Its strength also means the fruit holds up well in a highball.

Food pairing

Fresh fruit, white fish meunière and soft cheeses.

Background & production

From Glen Grant in Rothes, Speyside. The distillery was founded in 1840 by the Grant brothers, and the tall, slender stills and purifiers introduced by James 'The Major' Grant underpin its fresh, malty style. It is now owned by Italy's Campari Group.

The 15 Year Old Batch Strength launched in 2018. Created by master distiller Dennis Malcolm, it is matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.

It is bottled at a 'batch strength' of 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
