How to enjoy it

  • Neat

Neat is the best way to enjoy its sweet, exotic aroma. On the rocks it turns cleaner and makes a nice after-dinner drink.

Food pairing

Sweet desserts like vanilla ice cream, crème brûlée or dried mango.

Background & production

From The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside. Spirit matured for 14 years in conventional casks is moved into rum casks for a short finishing period.

The casks were prepared by Malt Master David C. Stewart, who filled American oak casks with his own blend of West Indian rums. Once they were judged ready, the rum was replaced with the 14-year-old whisky. Bottled at 43%.
