How to enjoy it

- On the rocks
In a highball the light smoke lifts refreshingly. Easy with food, and its aroma holds up in mizuwari (with water) too.
Food pairing
Yakitori, smoked foods and sausages.
Background & production
A blended Scotch named after the White Horse Cellar, a historic inn and tavern in Edinburgh. It was created by the blender and entrepreneur Peter Mackie.
It blends more than 35 malts, with Islay's Lagavulin as the key malt. In Japan it is sold by Kirin and has long been one of the best-selling Scotch brands.
Fine Old is bottled at 40% ABV in 700ml bottles.
