History & character
A distillery in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Lincoln Henderson — long-time master distiller at Brown-Forman and known as the father of Woodford Reserve — came out of retirement to create a cask-finished bourbon with his son Wes, and the brand launched in 2011. Lincoln died in 2013.
Construction of the distillery began in 2013, Bacardi acquired the brand in 2015, and the distillery and visitor centre officially opened in November 2016.
Its flagship is bourbon finished in port wine barrels, and it is known as one of the full-production distilleries in downtown Louisville.
